This page explains how Weekend Pizza collects and uses your personal data when you place an order, contact us, or browse this website.

What we collect

Order details: name, phone number, email, delivery address (delivery only), order contents.
Account data: if you sign in, your email and any saved addresses.
Payment: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
Analytics: anonymous usage data via Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and Vercel. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.

Why we use it

To prepare and deliver your order.
To send order confirmations and (with your consent) a one-time follow-up asking for a Google review.
To improve the site (which pages people use, where they get stuck).
To meet our legal accounting and tax obligations.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. These don't need consent because the site can't work without them.

If you click Accept, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set analytics cookies so we can see how the site is used across a visit.

If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Microsoft Clarity does not load at all. Google Analytics still runs in a restricted mode that sends Google a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed or an order was placed. It carries no identifier, cannot be linked to you or to a later visit, and is used only to estimate overall totals such as how many orders came from an advert.

You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser. The banner will reappear on your next visit.

Who we share it with

Our delivery dispatch system (so the right address gets the right order).
Our email provider (Amazon SES) for transactional emails.
Our payment processor for card transactions.
Microsoft Clarity and Vercel for analytics, only if you opted in.
Google Analytics: full analytics if you opted in, otherwise only the cookieless signal described under Cookies above.

We never sell your data. We never share it with marketers without your explicit permission.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for 6 years to meet UK accounting law (HMRC). Analytics data is automatically deleted after 14 months. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See below.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: see what data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, or export it. Email hello@olivesfood.co.ukand we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
